Empowered on Purpose

September 12 – 14, 2013

When the Holy Spirit filled the first disciples, a tremendous movement was initiated. The movement had a clear purpose. It was a Spirit-empowered, disciple-making movement. Evidenced by miracles, dramatic transformation and exponential growth, the movement changed the world.

Today, we seek to be empowered for the same purpose. However, as we survey the Western Church, we don’t often see the streams of supernatural empowerment and intentional disciple-making converging frequently, if ever. This needs to change. The ministry of Jesus included both. Ours should, too.

Empowered On Purpose seeks to catalyze and equip believers to encounter the power of God within a local ministry context of active disciple-making. It’s a discipleship movement founded and fueled by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
