Mighty Road Warriors

Our Mission: " .. . to preach good news . . . bind up the brokenhearted, proclaim freedom to captives and comfort all who mourn ,” --Isaiah 61:1-4

In 2001, God raised up The Mighty Road Warriors (formerly The River Riders) to see God glorified with bi-monthly motorcycle ride events including spring/fall campouts, breakfast/dinner rides, sight-seeing trips, local fundraising events for charities and lots of great friendship.

We focus on relationships among one another and seeing God glorified in our gatherings and lives while riding. Our group Chaplain, Brother Ron Brewer, offers spiritual advice and direction when we come together. Each ride event begins with prayer. Our desire is to build intimacy with Jesus Christ and one another while being a witness on the open road.

Our group is represented by numerous churches in the Northland area and made up of Baptists, Presbyterians, Methodists, Non-Denominational and a few non-church goers. Anyone is welcomed to ride with us regardless of church affiliation or the type of motorcycle he/she owns.

The beginning and ending ride season (spring/fall) is a campout/retreat for physical and spiritual renewal. Throughout the riding season, approximately 8-10 trips are scheduled, with a final winter get-together chili dinner. If you love the open road then this group could be just for you.

Ride Updates: Our next ride is at June 13. It’s a couples ride around Smithville lake and then dinner in Smithville at the BrickHouse Grill. Really good food! Make plans now to attend. For details call 816-729-4001. E-mail at: rodgerbowman@sbcglobal.net.
