There are many ways to be involved with missions activities. You can:
- Join as an intercessor for a specific Harmony missionary — We have developed a program that pairs intercessors with our missionaries. Our missionaries can email with prayer requests and intercessors can send missionaries words of encouragement. See our guidelines for becoming involved.
- Be a prayer warrior — More than anything, our missionaries need prayer. Make an effort to keep them in your regular prayer time.
- Go on a short-term missions trip — Harmony has several trip opportunites, and they often turn out to be life-changing events for those go. Pray whether God would have you go.
- Take a missions class
- Provide financial support — In most cases, missionaries have to raise their own support, and it takes the generosity of many people to generate the necessary funds to keep the missionaries in the field. No matter the amount, missionaries appreciate one-time gifts as well as regular monthly support.
- Take on a project — There are several projects that need to be done that can help the missions team at Harmony. Contact Teri Heft for specifics.
- Visit one of our missionaries — Seeing a friendly face from home can do wonders for someone serving on the mission field. It takes plenty of preparation, but the trip can well be worth the effort.
