Individual discipleship and small group efforts often benefit by using specific books or teaching series. In an attempt to encourage exactly those types of intentional, on-going activities, Harmony has prepared a list of Pastors’ Favorites and In-House Resources.

Pastors’ Favorites
Movies? Ice Cream? Color? Sports team? Vacation spots? Everybody has their favorites, don’t they?

Our pastors were asked to provide a short list of the most influential and formative books in their lives. If you even marginally admire our leaders, this list may be of great interest to you.

Many of these selections are now sold with a study guide. Will you allow us to strongly recommend you invest in a study guide as a means to expand and deepen your personal understanding?

Our pastors purchased many of these books with money from their own pocket. They suggest you do the same and recommend searching for discounted, used books on Amazon.com and ChristianBook.com.

In-House Resources
Harmony maintains a small library of training and educational resources. A majority of these DVD and VHS classes are available to Harmony members at no cost. Certainly, we ask that some reasonable guidelines be followed when using the materials. But more importantly, our goal is to get the truth contained in these materials into the hands and hearts of people who want to grow spiritually.

While a list of available materials are provided below, the main usage guidelines are listed here:

• All materials are provided at no cost to regular Harmony attenders, although a $20 deposit will be held until the materials are returned
• Materials may be checked out for a pre-determined period of time based on the scope of the materials (For example, if a course contains 4 weeks of content, the materials might be due within 6 weeks from the date they were checked out.)
• If materials are damaged, lost or not returned in a timely manner, a replacement cost of approximately $150 will be paid to the church by the person responsible for the materials
• The church reserves the right to discontinue, postpone, require the immediate return or decline to provide any materials to anyone at anytime without notice (Just so we’re clear.)
