Alpha Kick-off Dinner is Saturday, August 28th at 6:00 pm at the church. Class starts on Wednesday, September 1 at 7:00 pm. The Alpha Course is a practical introduction to the Christian faith. It is designed for people who are new to the faith, new to the church and for those who feel they need a good jump start to their spiritual life.

Under Cover: The Promise of Protection Under His Authority by John Bevere
–led by James Harris and Tim Gerdts
To walk in true spiritual authority, a believer must be submitted to God’s sovereign authority. John Bevere effectively uses his personal mistakes to illustrate riveting truths about repentance and forgiveness. As he focuses on the true authority of God, he is careful to explain by example the important difference between “submission” and “obedience.” The same struggle with divine authority is also represented through the lives of John the Baptist, the Apostle Paul, and other biblical figures. Beth Moore: Daniel

This a faith-building study of prophecy, and learning how to shine for Christ in our modern culture. Just as the prophet Daniel faced unbelievable pressures— to compromise his faith, to live in a hostile culture, and confront temptations and threats—today’s believers face many of the same trials. We will explore the fascinating prophecies from the time of Daniel through the second coming of Christ. Childcare is not provided.

CrossCurrent is an introductory level group for people just
beginning to explore God’s perspective on sexuality and
relationships. This group will meet from 7:00 – 9:00. Class size is limited. Please contact the church office for an application. This group will be open to those outside of the church as well. Childcare is not provided.
